I welcome you if your dog runs away, doesn’t come when called, or has no self-control. Many schools require your dog to work off leash and have a perfect recall in the company of strange dogs, but I feel that is asking too much of beginner dogs. I understand that teaching attention and focus is the hardest part of teaching agility, so I welcome you if your dog completely blows you off when you remove the leash. He’ll be safe in our fenced-in ring, and I will help you teach him to connect with you and remain connected with you in the presence of distractions.
My classes are conducted with the safety and comfort of all the dogs in mind. As a rule, only one dog at a time is in the ring, so your dog can learn attention and focus without being over-faced by the presence of other strange dogs.
I hold private and group classes at my facility in Blairstown, NJ. We have a beautiful property with a tree lined 100 x 100 agility yard, filled with regulation equipment. You can pull right up the ring and your dog can relax in the shade. The security of our fencing is Bull Terrier tested - your dog cannot escape from our agility yard.
